 The first chapter of They Both Die at the End

I've read myself to chapter 2. Impressing don't you think? (joking) 

As a person that mostly reads in Norwegian, I can feel the difference. It's a lot harder both reading, understanding and translating, but that's beside the point. I will tell you about what I have read now. We've currently met only one of the main characters; Mateo Torrez. Mateo gets a call from a company called "Death-cast". "Death-cast" calls people on the day they will die, they can't tell them how, or when, just that it happens that day. 

It seems that Mateo don't have a specific reaction to the news, he of course bugs himself with all he thing he could've "done differently", as well as starting to compile a mental list of what he will do on his last day alive. 

He has a near-death experience during the first 15 pages, but of course that wasn't what killed him (that would have made a quite boring book). The first chapter ends with Mateo on his way out of his apartment, but he is hesitant and doubts his choice...
